The goal of this organization is to start a national conversation about criminal justice reform among university students. This group will encourage discussions outside of a classroom setting, and additionally focus on topics relating to current events. By highlighting the intersections relating to criminal justice, such as race, gender, and socioeconomic status, we will demonstrate how expansive and biased the criminal justice system is in United States. Furthermore, through collaborations with other student groups, speaker series, and service initiatives, we will expand our outreach and promote criminal justice reform.
